BotSKU operates a marketplace. The platform collects payment as the merchant and marketplace facilitator. Buyers pay BotSKU. Sellers do not charge the card. One cart may include items from more than one seller. BotSKU uses separate charges and transfers: the charge stays on the platform, and a seller transfer is created only at payout time.

The default commission is 8% of each seller’s item price plus shipping, excluding sales tax. There is no listing fee, monthly fee, or advertising fee. The first 20 sellers are charged 5% on the same base for their first six calendar months. A seller’s stored rate and promotional expiry govern when different. Stripe processing fees are BotSKU’s expense.

BotSKU collects US sales tax, keeps it separate from seller balances, and remits it. Card numbers are entered on Stripe Checkout. BotSKU does not collect or store raw card data. Payments in this deployment are Stripe test mode until a later release explicitly enables live keys.

A seller ships within 2 business days of payment and uploads a carrier and tracking number within 48 hours. Payouts run weekly for sub-orders that were delivered at least 14 days earlier and have no open return. Seller payout is item price plus shipping, minus commission and the seller share of refunds. Refunded tax is never charged to the seller.
